Hey everyone!
Quick outfit of the day...before I run out the door for school :)
Fall is def here...For fall, my top colors for clothes would be olive green, dusty rose, tones of oranges/red or greens and navy blue.

My whole outfit is for Forever21 (online store)...I got this olive light weight/ loose fit V-neck top (around 21$)
and paired it up with some dusty pink skinny jeans with double zippers pockets (around 33$) !

Cute and simple! perfect to run around town! :)

Hi girlies!
I've been getting a lot of messages..concerning my daily makeup routine :)
I don't really do anything special..I like to keep it natural..sometimes a splash of color...or light cat eye like in my last video. Rosie or peachy cheeks and lips. Bronzer is a must for me!..especially when I haven't been going to the tanning salon anymore...

Here's the products that I've used to do this look:

L'oreal lineur intense

(greattt liquid eye liner)

NARS palette in pleasure of paris

(I use the 2 top colors, just to define my crease)

NARS blush in deep throat

Victoria secret bronzer in sunspell from the christian siriano collection

MAC lipstick in creme cup

This look is very simple to do...I think the hardest part would be to create the cat eye...but all you need to do is practice! Start with eyeshadow or pencil first...and when you are more comfortable try a liquid liner!

Practice will make you perfect :)

I was off work this past weekend...Was glad I could actually cook breakfast for my boyfriend :)
I love fruits..especially berries! I stopped by my local outdoor fruit market and got a bunch of fresh fruits to make pancakes....I'm telling you..it's was yummmy!!

Whenever we can, I try to eat organic as much as possible...You don't want all those nasty chemicals in you!

Crazy for OPI

I'm addicted to nail polishes....

My favorite brand is hands down! OPI <3
I find they have the most coolest and unique colors + they last forever on your nails + love the brush..it makes the process of applying nail polish smooth and easy!! I love how OPI comes out with new colors every season to keep your nails always "in".
OPI is expansive (retails at around 10$/ bottle) BUT! their bottles are huge!!! 15ml to be exact
To save money! Try to buy OPI on ebay :) you will find great deals! (5$/ bottle....free ship) don't buy single one..try to buy in lot or sets, you will save more money!

Here is my most recent purchase..and I'm in love with every single color I got..they are very "fall appropriate"

rising star - too hot pink to hold 'em - so many clowns..so little time - my address is Hollywood - barefoot in Barcelona

simmer & shimmer - i juggle..men - crown me already! - not like the movies - swimsuit..nailed it!

This lot I bought have everything I want...nudes, warm colors and sparkles!!!

I always get many compliments about my hair...

I love to have soft wavy hair...beach hair look...natural and effortless !
Here's my secret!

I use a curling wand to create this look! It's my go to tool and i think every girl should have one of these in their collection! :)
I have one from RUSK, that cost me 150$....and I got this cool zebra print one from AMIclubwear.com for a lot cheaper (i got the 3 tool set for around 100$) but this website always have discounts..so watch out!!

You really don't need to spend a lot of money on this tool...they all work the same!

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess palette

I just rediscover this beautiful palette from Estee lauder....I got it at the duty free when I was traveling.
It has everything you need to do a quick makeup look (Bronzer/ 2 eyeshadows / 2 lipsticks / 3 brushes / big mirror ) It's one of those things that always comes handy when you are on the go!

PRO:
-Nice pigmentation for eyeshadows and lip color
-palette is a good travel size and contains everything you need to apply your makeup

CON:
-The bronzer could be a bit darker. It gives more a healthy sheer glow.This palette would be perfect for lighter skin girls.
-Lasting power of eyeshadow and bronzer....BOO! for this palette...Everything was almost gone after a couple hours. You will need to do some touch ups.

FINAL SCORE : 6/10 good but I've seen better!

If I can only choose one eyeshadow to use for the rest of my life...It would be hands down!!!
Mac Woodwinked!!!

This eyeshadow look nothing special in the pan...but when you apply it on your lids...It becomes this beautiful multi-dimensional color. When i'm in a hurry..this is the color that i go for...fast and easy.
It's a beautiful all over color on the lids that brings out any eye color! You don't even need a crease color, because when you blend it in...the color fades out beautifully into a nice brown.
You can pull this color out day or night!

sorry I've been MIA... so much have been going on the pass month (Toronto..chicago...work..life..play)
Here's a little updated

-TORONTO - redken hair contest
This experience have been one of the most exciting part of my summer! I've been tweeting like crazy when I was there :) I got to meet some of the most incredible people of the fashion industries, the best of the best and pure talent!

I'm sorry..I couldn't take more pictures and share with you because of some rules of the contest...all i can give you is a sneak peak! :) I will give you some updates when It is time...because I will need all your help to vote for us!
On my trip there I got to meet up with another youtuber - fashion/beauty guru Ms bonita!

We had a great seafood / steak dinner at The Keg! (MY FAVORITE!!!)
Here's a little outfit of that night :) - very simple all black outfit ( black sheer blouse from BEDO, American apparel mini skirt and Sam Edelman stud pumps! )

The thing that mark me the most of this trip...was Makeup artist Vanessa jarmen..who worked with a lots of celebs..like Lady gaga (she actually did her makeup in this picture below)

Here are some of the products that Ms. Jarmen was using!
Georgio armani foundation, a LOT OF Rimmel eyeshadow quads (she find that they have great pigmentation and they are very soft/easy to work with)..foundation, lipgloss and mascara. and MAC..of course!
I'm very tempted to go buy some rimmel and try it myself..will do a review on stuff I like!

-CHICAGO trip!
Even before going to chicago..I knew i will love it...only because some of my favorite movies ( the lake house and transformers ---GEEK! i know :) ) are filmed there..so it made this trip even more exciting...
this trip was mainly to visit my boyfriends family...Chicago is a BEAUTIFUL city! Shopping and food is AMAZING there...but everything has a price. Beside it being the city that has the highest taxes in the states..everything seem like it was a bit more expensive.
Chicago remind me of Montreal and Toronto but 10x bigger and more glamorous with a touch of Dubai (exotic feel) because even if you were in the city...you are surrounded with water and cute little beaches and green, which I love!

-FUTURE PLANS
I've been building ideas with a friend of mine, who is also a makeup artist...to start a little business : bridal makeup....We may have a little website popping up :) will keep you updated for sure!

Other plans.... I need to fly down south ASAP! camping trip (that should be very interesting)...WEDDING coming up (and YES! i did buy a dress..and its from BCBG MAXAZRIA)...going back to university to finish my bachelor :( sooo tired of school! omg

secret for a fabulous tan

I know..I'm guilty for using tanning beds and to be addicted to the sun....BUT since 2 months..I haven't touch feet in a tanning salon and proud of it! My secret!.....I have found a nice moisturizer that contains a autobronzer in it...This moisturizer smells sooooooooooooo freaking good...My boyfriend even notice it :) He says it smells like blueberry pancakes LOL I think it;s the argan oil that makes this moisturizer soooo wonderful!
My skin has been nice and golden..just what i like!

GO OUT AND BUY IT NOW!.....I bought mine at this beauty store called "Max and cleo" in montreal...but it's been sold out everywhere i go... If you can find it, please let me know!

My mom always told me when I was little....you like to have lotssss of friends now but when you get older your true friends..you can only count them on one hand...so keep them close.

Couldn't ask for a better day.....Our view was just stunning with all the yachts nearby...awwww... :)

My all time favorite product..that I seriously cannot live without is Estee Lauder DayWear Sheer Tint Release Advanced Multi-Protection Moisturizer SPF15!!
This product is basically a tinted moisturizer that can fit any skin tone! The product itself is a light blue cream that changes color when you rub it into your skin (to match with your skin tone). I love to wear this during the summer instead of my Chanel foundation. I find it very light weight and it gives a nice fresh boost (glow) to my skin.

around 45$-50$ CAN

It may seem a bit expansive but a little 30ml bottle like this one...last me at least 3-4 months.

You really don't need much to cover your face!

Go to your Estee lauder and try it out! I guarantee you will love it!

Pearls in my mouth!

White teeth is very important for me! I`ve been obsess to keep them white..so..today I`ll share with you my routine and products that I love...and they actually works!

First! - If you have teeth that have major stains / damage / medical problems....I would recommend to ask advice to your dentist. You may need it done professionally...so don`t waste your money.
My teeth fairly white before..they just needed a little boost! If that`s your case....try my routine!

1. I have use Crest whitening stripes 2times a day, every other day for 1-2 months.

I have notice a big difference after 2 weeks.
Caution! Your teeth may become very very sensitive when you use the whitening stripes! Some weeks, I had to wait 3-4 days before using it again.

2. When I got my teeth as white as i wanted...I would use the stripes only once every 2 weeks..sometimes once a month...for maintenance.

3. Now that I got my white teeth....All I use is Crest 3D White mouth wash every day!
I know there`s plenty of brands out there that makes similar mouth wash BUT this once is my favorite one and I find that it works better then any other brands!

I also use the 5min speed whitening gel once a week....I saw kandee Johnson`s video about whitening her teeth and I ran out at Walt mart to find it! I also found this product at Pharmaprix! Only for 6$

This product WORKS beautifully! and my teeth never get sensitive! i love it

SUMMER TIME!

After reading this blog post...most of you will think I'm def crazy.....annnnd YEAH...i have to admit "I'm CRAZY for summmerrrrrr!!! "

Last thursday, It was the official day that H&M came out with their 5.95$ bikinis...and let me tell you, everything was sold out before I had the time to try them on....
Usually H&M swimwear is very cheap already, prices varies around 15$ to 18$ per pieces BUT ....the bikinis that i got this time was ONLY 5.95$ a piece!!! I couldn't say NO..even if I wanted to...I didn't expect much from this line and got surprise how nice the bikinis are...The quality is pretty much the same as their regular line and I love all the beautiful colors they came out with.

This beige bikini is the reason why I came to see this line....I love it soooo much that I had to buy it in every color available.

the detail on the top reminds me of House of harlow :) LOVVVEEE it!

this piece was 16$ top and 14$ bottom

(bought it on a previous shopping trip)

I was pretty proud of myself...my total was only 75$! (Which is not even enough to buy one of my L*Space bikinis)

These bikinis run small...I'm very petite (usually a S/XS..jeans size 25) and I have to size up! (I wear size 6 for tops and size 4 for bottoms)

STOCK UP GIRLIES!!! one tip: IF IT FITS, BUY IT! :)

Flavor of the week : Sephora Sculpting Disk

From now on..every week, I will share a beauty product that I love and been using constantly :)

The flavor of this week is the SEPHORA SCULPTING DISK!

Buy it at Sephora (around 25$)

PROS:
-great for all the "on the go" ladies and go traveling, 3 in 1 product (Bronzer, all over powder and highlight)
-my favorite part of this product is the bronzer (matt and buildable ) and highlight (give a natural glow and not shimmery)
-good color payoff
-for all skin tone
-big mirror and lots of products
- very affordable!!! :)

CONS:
-durability : don't have a very good lasting power...may need to reply during the day
-wish it comes with a brush
-it's say "sculpting disk" but I don't use it to sculpt my face (bronzer is not dark enough) ... i use it to give my face a nice healthy glow

It's seems like a lot of products but everyone of them play a key element to keep my hair healthy!

so....now, on to my hair diet! :)

Hair Diet

-Wash my hair everyday : some people say it's not good for your hair because it take out all the natural oil of your hair...but I do it because I have really long hair that goes everywhere (plus I play in it all the time)..I need to wash it in order to keep it clean

-Apply overnight repair treatment 2-3 times a week

-Apply hair mask instead of usual conditioner for 5 mins in the shower every 2-3 days

-Always apply heat protection before using heating tools

Try to let my hair air dry, instead of blow drying it

-Always apply styling cream to smooth out my wet hair before combing to prevent your hair to break

-I have 3 favorites to make my hair shinny BUT i only use ONE at a time...don't use too many or too much (all u need is size of a pea ) of those products - it will make your hair greasy and dirty looking

Going crazy for flowers!

I'm back with a haul from Forever21 :) I always have a weird relationship with F21...it's a hit or miss whenever I go there.

Tips to go shopping at F21

-Try to shop online to avoid all the chaos and for better deals! they often have sales!

-If you shop in store, TRY IT ON! it may look good on the rack but the fit it not always great

-Don't hesitate to size up! some pieces are tinyyyy!

-There shoes are always true to size

-Go shopping during a week day!..it's empty right before or after lunch break :)

-DON'T EVEN TRY TO STOP THERE IN THE WEEKEND...u wont see anything!

-Check out the lingerie section..it's actually pretty damn good!

-Stop by different F21 in your city...everyone of them carry different stuff and take your time to look around that's how I find all the one of a kind pieces :)

-You like it, BUY IT! it's not going to be there next time. TRUST ME!

-F21 is my #1 place to buy rompers..cheap and cute prints!

This summer....(still waiting for "summer" to come in Montreal) I'm going completely crazy for bold prints like FLOWERS!!! and tribal. Here is what I bought:

Everything I bought here was between 15$ to 28$!
Quality wise, I find the piece that range around the 17$ are often very thin and not durable, but like everyone says YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! I say if you like the print and style..fits good = buy it! It's cheap..I don't feel bad trowing it away. The pieces that are around 25$ are the better quality ones, often made with cotton silk, they look good, feel good on BUT you need to try it! The fit is not always flattering.

Spa day for my BBF Bella

What a beautiful day!!!

Hello sunshine! I love it when the sun wakes me up...it's soo relaxing! PLUS! it's the beginning of my 5 days off!!! wohooo..what do you want more!!! Life is good :)

So..today, I'm taking my best friend in the world...my 8 year old husky named Bella for some much needed TLC at a local pet washing and grooming place:

I couldn't be more happy when I saw her little face after the wash...Bella came out fresh and glowing! I def found THE best place to take care of my love! The price they charged was surprisingly very reasonable, compare to many places I've been in the past! and this place is very clean, which is very important for me!

I, also love how all the dogs are running around playing together while waiting for there turn to get wash or waiting for mom or dad to come pick them up...Very friendly place! A+ in my book!

Dogs are truly man's best friends...In the hard days, I always have her to cry on and watch all the movies I want. Love and take good care of your puppies!

If you are looking to buy a dog, I would HIGHLY recommend to go check out your local SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) or any dog shelter, before looking at pet shops or farms. There are soo many dogs that needs a home. Don't think that pets that are in these shelters are bad pets with problems..NOT AT ALL! Most of them just need a loving home.

Bella was actually adopted at my local SPCA....and i couldn't be more happy! She is perfect!

Go adopt a puppy today!

Hair dilemma!

As many you girlies know...not long ago I went for a little trim and my hair dresser decided to put some highlights for a photoshoot! I didn't know if i like it...or not. so...I try to keep it for couple weeks...
FINAL DECISION....going back to my normal dark chocolate brown color!!! Brunette def have more fun to me! Here is some before pictures...with platina highlights (I means it's not that noticeable but...I can see it! and it bothers me a lot..for some odd reason) At first, I like the warmth that it gave to my hair for the summer but this hair color didn't help with my tan. I find it gave me a very pale complexion....

I decided to color my hair by myself...

My favorite brand is Garnier ultra long-lasting shiny color and I use 415 (dark cool brown)

I've tried many many brands...and I find that the color of this brand always comes out very vibrant (intense) and healthy looking...even after a couple weeks (the color wash out very nicely)

FINAL RESULT! back to my beautiful chocolate brown hair BUT! at some place i can still see the highlights a littleee bit...It's a nice lighter cool brown that only pops out in the sun... I lovve it!

hair dilemma...resolve!
On to the next!!! Oh yes! today!!!! I'm bringing my puppy...actually It's not a "puppy" anymore....she's a full grown husky named Bella :) It's her spa day! She is shedding like CRAZY!

Funky Toque Rocks!

I have officially found an amazing gay hairdresser! His name is Jose and he works at Funky toque located on

Jose is amazing because he listen well to his client, find what they want and offer the best hairstyle with his amazing fashion sense. I never seen anyone that work so hard on my hair.
My hair has sooo long and the shape and layers i used to have kinda disappear in all that chaos.
My hair is still very long..no worries..but it has so much more layers and body to it...I JUST LOVE IT!

I feel ready for summer!!

I also did a photo shoot on sunday for a Redken hair contest. I still haven't seen the pictures up close...but from what I've seen..it looks fabulous! Lola, a colorist at Funky toque put some light brown (platina) highlights in my hair...It looks ok..but I'm not too crazy about it...I dont know it I should dye it back to my natural color..

Urban Decay Naked palette

WOOT WOOT! DOUBLE POSTING TODAY! hehe whatt? It's my day off :) and I've been neglecting my blog...

So...as many of you guys know..I'm now a proud owner of the famous urban decay naked palette! Thanks for the boyfriend that surprise me with it on wednesday night :)
This palette is owned by every makeup guru on youtube...and after playing with it...I certainly know why now! It's such a beauty: amazing, wareable colors..nice mix of matt and shimmery colors..and OH SO SOFT and CREAMY eyeshadows that blend like heaven! If you can find it..GET IT!

I'm in love with this palette! I've been playing with it every day since I got it....and I have absolutely NO COMPLAINTS about this palette!

Going ccrazy for Chicken!

Hope everyone had a great St-Patrick's Day yesterday!!!

If you ever come to Montreal! There is one place that you should go to taste amazing Portuguese cuisine!
This place is called : Romados!

This rotisserie is owned my my best friend's family and it's been around for years! They are known for their AMAZING CHICKEN! I personally don't like chicken but WOW! it's the only chicken that I can say I enjoy eating it, because it is soo fresh! Every single chicken they sell is freshly made of the day in a huge wood oven!!! Make sure to ask for their spicy sauce!! It makes all the difference!

I love wearing a corset with a skin tight skirt, especially those from American Apparel! Cheap and you can wear it with anything! This weekend was amazing! The fraternity of my bf did this huge party, let me tell you it was time to pull out a great outfit....

The corset is from H&M for only 34.95$ and the skirt is from American Apparel for 35$!!
This outfit is super sexy yet still classy and sophisticated! I'm in love with corset and every time I go to H&M I end up finding a new one! At first thought...a corset seem like it is something you would wear in the bedroom..lol because it is soo small, but pair it up with a high waisted skirt that you wear it over...and the corset seem a lot more wearable. At AA they have any kinds of skirt in every color you need! Go shopping girls!!!!

Summer needs to come....like NOWWW!

Montreal weather has been CRAZY! I don't understand all this chaos! Snow storm, ice and then raining for days! My car was stuck in the snow today when I came out of work....no shovel, no gloves, no snow boots..TOTAL FAIL on my part. I decided to kick and push the snow as much as possible with my little boots. I was discourage...AND THEN "awwwww" some stranger stop in his jeep and offer to help me..It took him 10 mins to do everything : simply tie my car to his car to pull me out! WOW! i couldn't believe it....GOOD PEOPLE STILL EXIST IN OUR SOCIETY! I almost gave up on that one...but there's always a good soul to prove me wrong. My mom is a big believer of karma : do good and good will come to you. She always tell me to help people, be nice, put a smile on peoples face and one day all my good actions will pay out...and I guess it did! Whenever I'm in bad situation, there's always someone there to help me. I really live by and believe in karma. Do you?

Whenever I feel down and the lack of sun shine is getting to me...I like to put bright colors on my nails to cheer me up... :)

I love mint green...makes me happy! and....the one nail with sparkles: that's from Lorraine "thecurrentcustom" on youtube, I love her!

HAUL TIME! : goodies from H&M

I love H&M! I always find goodies there for a good price and the quality is not that bad. H&M is one of my top choice to buy bikinis (who would think they sell nice swimsuit) and dresses for every occasion!
Since couple months, they've been coming out with hot corset that I love to wear with skin tight skirt! YOU should try them on! they look fabulous!

snowy day in Montreal

Woke up today to this....

Yeah..I know...this is hopeless..Summer will never come! (lol) I love Montreal..but wow! winter sucks in the city..traffic is crazy and it seems like we have all the bad drivers in the world is based here..haha!

Can't see properly... -_-**

My drive way was cover with snow...I'm happy it was soft snow, so mini can run in the garage without any problems. Imagine if I ever get suck...lol
What a fail of a day...Got outside, my Ugg boots was covered in snow and decided to stay home. I did nothing today..Enjoy the day inside, eating greasy food, watching movies and youtube videos :)

My all time dream : living by the beach!
I wish one day I could live somewhere warm and sunny all year long! I'm so jealous of people that lives in Miami, Florida and Hawaii!

Makeup Look : party!!! Girls night out

This is one of my favorite look to do for a night out! It's very very easy and fast to do! A look that you can do at work, school or quickly in the car (for busy girls on the road) because it needs very little products.
And most importantly...this makeup last all night long for girls that likes to hit up the club and dance.

I love smokey eyes but using black can be very harsh and hard to wear. This look is a navy/dark blue smokey eyes/ pin up looking with a twist :) All the attention goes to your eyes!
Navy brighten the white of your eyes, so you look very healthy and awake! Not like black smokey eyes that can give the raccoon eyes effect (look like you just got punched in the eye balls) lol

The rest of the face, I kept it very clean and light using a cold pink.
Makeup tip: Try to balance your makeup, if you have strong eyes-keep the rest of your cheeks and lips soft and if you want to use a bold hot color on your lips-keep your cheeks and eyes a bit more neutral!
You don't want to have too much going on. We want to look hot..not a hot mess :)

Goodbye Montreal...and Hello Quebec city for the weekend

I love when Weekends comes! Mini trip out of Montreal is much needed...I was debating on Toronto and Quebec...Quebec won! The boyfriend and I wanted something relaxing and romantic ;) nothing too crazy..Quebec will be perfect for that.

After a day of work...Hotel booked.Check! Luggage ready.Check!

It was a wonderful little trip! very relaxing..First day, we went to eat at Cochon Dingue near the st-Lawrence river

Beautiful little restaurant! The food was very good (I'm a picky eater).. I got the onion soup, which often is really salty when the cook doesn't know how to make it properly. Their onion soup was perfect! Nice coat of yummy cheese and the soup itself wasn't salty at all! PERFECTO!
As the main dish, I got some pasta with a nice sauce rosee! My problem with rosee sauces is that usually they don't taste anything, because it is very light. But here...wow! it was amazing! I ate everything!!!

After lunch...we drove around the old Quebec, walk around some well known streets and shop around before checking in our hotel. It was a beautiful day! Fairly warm and not windy :) We stayed at The Delta..I don't usually recommend hotels but WOW I seriously think that is it the best hotel everrr in Quebec! I feel like I was on top of the world!!! We only got a regular room on the 4th floor, not anything crazy. I didn't expect anything..When we got in out room..I was blown away with the view of all Quebec city! At night, when I was laying in bed, I could see all the light of the city!

This is only one part of the window...The window was huge! All around!!! It was just breath taking!

What a weekend!!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend too! I feel so much more refresh and ready to get back to work! This week will be a crazy one! I have this casting to be a makeup artist for Annabelle and Marcelle cosmetics, to do makeup tutorials again!!! I'm veryyy excited and hopefully I will be able to get this job! I will do a couple looks and post pictures on here, so you girls can help me find the look that i will do in front of them :)

OH what a weekend!!
Bunch of my friends were leaving for spring break to Cuba!! so...we decided to party hard before they abandon me here in the cold. I pulled out one of my favorite little black dress :) from forever21...simple yet..soooo sexy!

Oh la la! fabulous v-day!

Hope everyone had an amazing Valentine's Day!
As promise..I would share with you girlies what I did on this crazy day :)
I was cooking!!! (uh oh) Chocolate Truffles and strawberries dip in milk chocolate <3
I found the amazing recipe on youtube from one of my favorite beauty gurus : ahanhbarbie34! CLICK HERE to see the video of Hanh, how to make chocolate truffles!
Here is a picture of the final result!!!

Success!! Almost burn down my microwave..when I was trying to melt the chocolate...but everything is all good at the end! I stop by the boyfriends house with this plate of goodies with a heart balloon to cheer him up...from studying midterms all day!

Earlier that day! My mom and I, finally went shopping for my necklace...was waiting for this day for a lonng time! I guess....my mom waited for the perfect day to give me this special gift..

Early Valentine's Day

ohh...what a weekend! It's probably one of the nicest..relaxing weekend I had since a long time.
I got to spend some time with my best friend of more then 15 years. We went out for a nice dinner and went to the biggest sex shop of montreal for some v-day shopping! The boyfriends will be very happy ;)
I wanted to share with everyone, what my BFF got me...
She gave me this little bracelet from Agatha that she order online @ http://www.agatha.fr/accueil.htm. The jewelry is from Paris!

It's something small and simple..but yet...when I saw this bracelet, it was screaming my name all over! My BFF know I love fashion and shoes are my favorite item...The little charm is sooo cute! You can see all the little details of the high heels, which I love!

My weekend got only better...when the boyfriend showed up at my house with this nice bouquet of flowers...I LOVE FLOWERS...even if I'm soo allergic to them! LOL
Small little gesture like this just make me so happy... You don't need to spend a lot of money to make your love ones happy.

I feel very lucky and blessed to be surrounded with people that love and care about me...Valentine's Day is all about love and care! I will show you what is my little surprise for my boyfriend..I will be in the kitchen and running around all day tomorrow to make everything perfect...stay tune for some pictures :)

I've been in love with glitter nails! My favorite color of glitter polish is OPI bring on the bling from the burlesque collection. I love how pigmented and bold the color is, with only one coat! Lasting power is amazing also! I have a hard time to take this polish off..so make sure to put a good base color underneath any glitter polish and a nice top coat to keep it shinny!

Here is some other glitter nail polish in my collection, I love them all and i would recommend anyone to try them out!

New products I just bought...

When I use to do videos on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/barbieCDL)..everyone love my hauls! So..I'm bringing this back to share with you girls my recent purchases!

This month I'm all about skincare! My skin in normal to dry. I like to go tanning and sometimes feel like my complexion is dull and lifeless with work. I also have dark circles. I heard amazing things about Origins, but I want to try something cheaper and see if it works...before spending lots of money. So I bought Clarins Daily Energizer Cream (25$CAN). This cream is enriched with vitamin C, turmeric, plant extract alchemilla, and ginkgo bilboa, which work together to stimulate the skin’s natural defence mechanisms, slow down excess oil production, and encourage healthy circulation. They claim to diminish imperfections, brighten up and even-out your complexion. Like a coffee for your face :).

I'm also using the Garnier Caffeine Anti-dark circle 2 in 1 Roll on! (15-18$ at any drugstores)
I'm curious about the tint of this product...I also heard lots of great reviews for this product..LET'S SEE HOW I LIKE IT! :)

On to the fun part..MAKEUP!
This month, I'm all about eyes..and L'oreal has a couple stuff on sale, so I bought their new mascara Extra volume collagen and eyeliner Lineur intense:

First impression for these products...just okay. I may need more time to use and abuse them (lol)
The mascara, the wand is kinda odd and I;m not too crazy about the formula..Makes my lashes look bigger but they look like spider legs (don't coat well all the lashes evenly and have the tendency to accumulate at the end of the lashes) ..not too crazy but I've use worst mascaras.
For the liquid eyeliners, I really like the felt tip applicator..It's my first time using this kind (i usually prefer gel) and I like it! It's very easy to use and you can make tiny lines to big fat ones. PLUS! it is very black...so I LIKE! Perfect, if you like to wear that pin up look.

So..that is all for my little haul! I think with growing up, I've learn to not buy everything in store but to pick out what i actually need and will use. I'll keep you posted for my skincare products, if if works or not!

Smells like...heaven

Trying to find a good perfume is very hard! Some are too strong and others smell good for 30 mins then disappears..

I've been using the same perfume for couple years now and I always get sooo many compliments about it! Women loves it and men go crazy for it! ;) It's The Beat from Burberry!

I love this perfume because it last forever on my skin with only 2 sprays, yet it is very light and soft. It has a special floral scent : Delicate, fresh and young. I hate when I can smell your perfume across the room. With the Beat, guys often compliments me when they are sitting right beside me or give me a kiss on the cheek (It's a french thing to say hello..we dont shake hands haha)
It's truly a wonderful perfume! Try it!

We want a healthy lifestyle for 2011

I was bored on the weekend...just finish watching Jersey shore (haha...we all like a good laugh and drama) on mtv.ca and i was curious about their new show " I used to be fat"....I find this show amazing, got so motivated to have a healthy lifestyle. I suddenly wanted to go back to the gym after stop for almost 4 years and eat healthy food (no more McDonalds and poutine!). Don't get me wrong girls, I know I'm not fat and I don't need to lose weight! But going to the gym doesn't mean I want to lose weight...I think that lost of people have that imagine of gyms and its not true! Going to the gym and working out, is also to tone your body up and get physically fit! And trust me, after a good work out, your body want you to eat (it's his fuel) but eat healthy food! Working out helps a lot with my appetite!

You are what you eat.

Going to the gym is fun! BUT the goal is to keep on going and maintaining a healthy lifestyle!

Here is some tips that help me!

-Doing it with a friend or your boyfriend! Two is better then one! You will keep each other on track :)

-Try to cook at home instead of eating out. Save money!

-Go to a gym from your school. It's cheaper then most gyms.

-Allow 1 or 2 days in the week to spoil yourself! Can't live without my chocolate desserts!

-Make sure to eat 3 meals a day. Don't skip any meals! Your body needs it's fuel!

-Don't eat after 9pm. If you are hungry, eat something small, like a fruit!

-Buy some cute outfits specially for gym! You don't have to wear ugly sweatsuits. Lululemon is my favorite brand!

Nails, nails, nails...

Hello world!
Today was my day off....but it didn't feel like it... Been tossing and turning all night because of a stomach ache, was suppose to wake up early for an "oil change"... whatever that means..but end up having a car wash.. :)
AND YES! I has suppose to go buy some....nail polish! Not that I need more of them...but when I knew that KATY PERRY and OPI was coming out with a collection...I couldn't say no...

This collection looks AMAZING!

When I got to the store, I was overwhelm by the big boxes covering the front door....I ask the store owner if She receive the collection....and FAIL! She said it was somewhere is those boxes but she can't find it....WHAT A FAIL!...I'm planning on stopping veryyy soon to get the whole collection! I'm in LOVE with the blue and the pink glitter!!!

I love.... nice wavy hair!

Hello!!!
I've been receiving a lot of questions and compliments whenever I curl my hair! I love curly hair! BUT not...this kind of curly....

This is nice...but I don't like it on my head...It looks too fake. That's why I don't use any curly iron anymore..the curls looks too curly and usually don't have lasting power....
My secret for natural looking curls that last for all night long is.....

CURLING WAND! :) this tool is wonderful!

Remedy for dry flaky skin?....hell yeah!

Hello Hello !
Is anyone like me? Winter drives me nuts because I have dry skin...and the cold weather makes it even dryer..PLUS! I love tanning!....(bad..i know)....All of this combine = BAD FLAKY DRY SKIN!
But! I think I may have found a remedy!!!! At least, it's been working well for my skin! Better then any moisturizer, I've ever use..and I HAVE TRY MANYYYYY!!!

So...Here is my take on keeping your skin nice and glowy in only 2 simple steps!!!

1. EXFOLIATE!!! It's important to scrub off all the dead skin! I like to use those exfoliating gloves in the shower and my favorite brand of body scrub is St-Ives (7-10$ at Walt Mart). Exfoliate 2 times/week!
2. BABY OIL!!!!!...forget about creams! Baby oil is the way to go!!! You would think that it will leave your skin oily?!?! BUT NO! baby oil is usually fast absorbent. It drys out within 30sec-1min, leaving your skin a nice healthy glow!

TRY IT! I'm sure you will love it! I got so many compliments from my co-worker, asking me how do i get a skin that is so glowy and healthy looking! ;) I got this idea from Kristina, a friend and a youtube beauty/makeup guru : kissonthechic!

Hi everyone!
Yes..yes...I'm still alive :)
I'm so sorry for being gone for sooo long...I'm slowly coming back! Starting with opening this blog which I can do some daily updates about what I'm doing, hauls, new makeup i love and fashion tips!

UPDATES (for the past year)...
I've been taking a break from university to pursuit one of my dreams..being a makeup artist! I'm almost done with my classes and will soon be a certified makeup artist in mid-feburary!! (wohhoo) Plans after that....focus on bridal makeup!!
Beside school, I've been working in a new hospital...where I work in the caseroom (deliver babies). Stressful but I love it!
and....after some amazing holidays with family and friends....I went away to Cayo coco, Cuba with the new bf ;) ...Had an amazing time....wish I could be there because Montreal's weather is driving me crazyyy....
